SESTRY FELDMAN WORLD

Bringing together painting, conceptual objects, music, live performance, and immersive installation, SESTRY FELDMAN WORLD explores contemporary life through a distinctly Ukrainian perspective. Over the past decade, their work has been presented internationally through exhibitions, public art projects, and cultural initiatives across Europe and beyond.
At the center of the exhibition is an immersive installation set in the year 2050, envisioning a domestic world in which a woman is married to an AI. Through the interior of a fictional home, each room reflects a different tendency of the modern world, pushed to an absurd extreme. Blending speculative storytelling and world-building, the exhibition examines accelerating change and uncertainty in contemporary society - the growing presence of AI, consumer culture, geopolitical instability, climate crisis - through the lens of a fictional future.
“People often imagine an apocalypse that never quite arrives; we want to convey our own vision of this and show how all our fantasies turn into ordinary things,” the artists explain."
Further reflecting on the ideas behind the project, Sestry Feldman say:
"It seems to us that many people today share the same feeling: we are living in an era where the future arrives faster than we can comprehend it. We are confronted daily with such a vast array of information, opinions, images, and anxieties that we gradually begin to question not only the world around us but also our own perceptions.
"This sense of madness, lack of control, and an uncertain future has become the norm. Indeed, anyone who is certain of anything these days appears to be the exception.”

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sestry Feldman are Nicole and Mishel, Ukrainian twin artists born in 1996 in Dnipro. Their multidisciplinary practice spans art, animation, installation, design, and visual storytelling, exploring contemporary Ukrainian identity, collective memory, and the relationship between technology, public space, and lived experience.
Animation is a central part of their practice, including the series YoYo (2024–2025), which examines artificial intelligence through a fictional world where creativity becomes an act of resistance.
Their work has been exhibited internationally in Kyiv, Brussels, Berlin, Tbilisi, London, New York, and Warsaw, and has been recognized through programs including the VMSD International Visual Competition, ArtShield (London), and the Pictoplasma Conference.
In addition to exhibitions, Sestry Feldman create large-scale public murals and installations across Europe and Ukraine. Their work bridges art, documentary, and social space, contributing to conversations around identity, image-making, and contemporary Ukrainian culture.
