Step into a moment suspended in deep red. This is more than an exhibition. It's a space where the urgency of youth meets the quiet pull of what comes next.

Every piece was curated by Murrow High School seniors - right at the edge of change. In this charged pause before everything shifts, we've offered up what we can of memory, emotion, imagination. These works carry the weight of our final year, but also the spark of what's just beginning. They're our Ponceau moment - brief, intense, and unforgettable.

You'll see contrast everywhere. Stillness and motion. Fragility and strength. the comfort of what we know, pressed against the thrill - and fear - of the unknown. All of them mark a turning point; the choice to grow, to leap, and to begin once again. 

​

Ponceau isn't just a color - it's a feeling. It stains everything: the friendships we're leaving, the dreams we're chasing, the selves we're still becoming. Senior year doesn't end here. it becomes something more.

Curatorial Class Mentor: Bobbi Salvör Menuez

​

These students participated in a twelve week curatorial practicum at ELM Foundation. During this time, they learned to develop a curatorial rationale, create a budget proposal, execute and install their exhibition design, and manage an ambitious checklist. In addition, the seniors met with exhibiting artists as well as took a very productive field trip to Materials for the Arts where they sourced much of the material used in the exhibition design. ​
